Zapotec Diamond
Geometric precision meets ancient craftsmanship
The Zapotec Diamond is the most iconic pattern of the Zapotec weaving tradition. The diamond motif appeared on ceramics and textiles as far back as the pre-Columbian period and has never lost its power. In our version the pattern is executed in an interplay of terracotta, indigo and natural wool, each drawing its color from centuries-old dyeing methods.
